I checked the Featherlite Trailer website for specs on the model 3116 trailer but this part number returned no results. But if your trailer uses an industry-standard 50-degree a-frame design then the Demco A-Frame Trailer Coupler # DM16680-52 will fit as a bolt-on replacement. I linked a photo of this coupler to show you the mounting hole spacing.
