Is there a max weight the hitch can handle in the raised position? Or is it 5000# in either raised it lowered?

The max tongue weight of the Reese adjustable ball mount # RP21141 in the rise or drop position is 500lbs. The overall gross towing weight of this ball mount is 5,000lbs in either the rise or drop position as well.
