Replacement Bearings for Four Winns Single-Axle Boat Trailer

I have a 1999 Four Winns Horizon 190 boat with a Four Winns single axle trailer. Are you able to verify that this is the correct kit to replace the inner/outer bearings, races and seals? The boat is currently in storage in another state so I am unable to pull trailer vin, etc. but I would like to get the parts ordered prior to picking up the boat for the season. Thanks you.

Trailer makers don't often maintain records of the small parts like bearings that are used in their trailers (even when you can tell them its VIN) so the way to know for certain what replacement parts you need is to pull one of the hubs, remove its bearings and check them for part numbers.

The linked photo shows the typical appearance and location of bearing, race and seal part numbers. It also indicates the points on the spindle that where you will need to take precise measurements IF you cannot find the bearing numbers. You'll need a precision caliper like # PTW80157 to take measurements to the nearest thousandth, such as 1.234-inches. These dimensions will let you search our site for bearings that match up; use the linked page to see all bearings. You can also measure the inner diameter of your bearings if you find that easier than measuring the spindle.

Since your boat weighs 2710-lbs it is possible your axle is rated for 3500-lbs total. This is not necessarily the case but based on the boat weight it is fairly likely to be your axle capacity. Often bearing L44643 is used on 3500-lb axles, and this is included as both inner and outer bearing in kit # DL21792 from TruRyde.
