Question:
I current run Kodiak integrated hub/rotors model KHR12D on 1 of the axles on tadem axle boat trailer that is used exclusively in saltwater. I am tired of replacing them ever couple of years due to rust. Thinking about upgrading to Kodiak stainless hub along with Kodiak stainless steel slip on rotors. Do you know switch to a idler hub and slip-on rotor would widen the axle at all? I am concerned if the wheels would still be centered on the existing fenders. Thanks.

Hey Ivan, we have just what you are looking for with the idler hub from Kodiak part # KH42655S which is a stainless steel hub designed to be used with the stainless steel slip on kit part # K2R526S to replace what you have. This hub would hold the wheel in the exact same location as what you have now so there wouldn't be any concern with offset or backspacing and you'd have the corrosion free setup you are wanting for your boat trailer. How often are you launching in saltwater for them to corrode that quickly?

Hey Ivan, how did the switch to the Kodiak stainless hub and slip-on rotors work out on your boat trailer? Did the wheel alignment stay centered under the fenders like you hoped? Your update could make it easier for others upgrading from the integrated hub setup.
