Question:
I have a 2019 axis tandem axel boat trailer that lost a lug bolt on Saturday. I have never worked on a torsion axle or vault bearings before. This looks like one single unit that may have to be replaced in its entirety. How do i replace the lug bolts? The hub and rotar? The entire arm? Thanks!

Thanks for the photo; I can't say for certain if the lug can be replaced or not, but in order to find the correct replacement all you'd need to do is measure. For example, the Kodiak Wheel Bolt # K12WB2 is for Kodiak integral hub-and-rotor brake assemblies with a 2" stud length, 0.42" spline length and a 1/2"-20 UNF-2A thread. I will leave a link below to our entire selection of replacement bolts.
If it turns out you can't replace just the bolt you'll need to replace the hub. To do this you'll you need to know the weight rating of your axle, and also what bearings your current hub has. You will need to take apart your current hub assembly and look at the bearings themselves; wipe away the grease and you should be able to see the part number stamped directly on them. If you are unable to find them, you need to use digital caliper and measure your spindle to the thousandths of an inch where the bearings and grease seal ride.
For example, the Kodiak 12" Hub-and-Rotor Assembly # KHR12D fits with inner bearing 25580 (1.750" inner diameter), outer bearing 15123 (1.250" inner diameter), and grease seal 10-36 (2.25" inner diameter). I'll leave a link below to our selection of hubs for you as well.
