Does Curt Flat Plate Gooseneck Hitch C65500 have a Capacity Rating if Bolted Directly to Truck Frame

Question:

Hi, What is the towing weight if this is just bolted through the truck bed right to the truck frame instead of using an over bed installation kit? Thanks

I checked with Curt and they have the following note for gooseneck hitch # C65500: When exceeding 20,000 gross trailer weight, a bed floor support should be fabricated and installed to prevent the bed floor from collapsing.

Beyond that there isn't a specific limit. But if it were me I would not install this hitch without adequate support considering the weight of a gooseneck trailer.
