Im using a 7 pin connection on my dump trailer and want to charge the dump trailer battery from the tow vehicle when Im towing. How do I make this connection?

7-way vehicle wiring can deliver a maintenance charge to keep a charged trailer battery at full charge while you're driving but it will not be able to deliver enough current to re-charge a depleted battery. That will require a shore-power charger like one of the CTEK units, such as # CTEK56353.
Another option is a solar panel charger like # TLA7713 which works continuously as long as light is available. For use with one battery you'll also need a 8-amp regulator, part # TLA7715. This set-up can bring a battery back from half-charge and also can maintain a charged battery.
