Does the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch 13135 for Subaru Crosstrek Require Use of Stabilization Strap

I have 2014 Crosstrek with C13135 and a 1up quik rack. Do I need to also use the hitch support strap with this bike rack/hitch combo?

Yes, in order to comply with Curt's warranty for the # C13135 trailer hitch on your 2014 Subaru Crosstrek, you will want to use a stabilization strap like # 18050.
I have attached the installation instructions for the hitch. On the first page of the instructions, there is a note stating Curt recommends the use of the stabilization strap.
