Recommended Suspension Enhancement for a 2013 Nissa Xterra that Bottoms Out and Sways

Updated 04/04/2016 | Published 03/31/2016

Question:

I have a 2013 nissan xterra pro 4x. It bottoms out when I hit bumps and sometimes seems to bounce sideways. Even with no load. Would the timbren system help with this. Also if it would work will it help the front end also. Thanks

The Timbren # TJRC01 provides the leveling and stabilization you are looking for. These rear axle suspension rubber springs replace your factory original bump stops and require no drilling to install.

Typically, we only recommend the front suspension if you are using a snow plow or carrying a front load. I recommend starting with the rear and if that doesn't perform to your desired stiffness, then upgrade the front suspension as well. Adding a more rigid setup to both axles could make for an uncomfortable unloaded ride.

I have linked the above mentioned product to this page for your convenience.
