Question:
I would like to pull a massey furgeson tractor, approx. weight 4500 on a trailer pulled by my 2005 ford f150 xl...can I use the E-3S bumper hitch?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Most likely not. The Curt Bumper Hitch part # E-3S does have a 5,000 lb capacity, but most bumpers do not have anywhere near that capacity.
Instead you would need a frame mounted trailer hitch with a higher capacity like the Curt part # C14357. This has a 10k trailer weight rating so as long as your truck has the towing capacity for the tractor and trailer you want to tow (check owner's manual), this hitch would work well for you.
For a HD all mount you would want the part # C45341 and then hitch ball # 63840 for a 2-5/16 inch ball.
