If you have the Optronics # ST8RB and # ST9RB, no connector is needed. On the back of the taillight, there is a hole for the stop/turn and a hole for the running light wire. Each of these holes will have a smaller hole directly below it. Strip back the insulation on the wire by about a 1/4 inch, twist the copper strands of each wire tightly and push it into the hole in the back of the lamp as you're pushing a small screwdriver into the smaller hole. Once the wire is fully inserted, remove the screwdriver, which locks the wire into place. The two mounting bolts provide the ground connection, so the lamp will need to be connected to the metal trailer frame, or to a piece of metal that's connected to the trailer frame.
