I could not find original brake specs for your 1998 Sunline Solaris T-2053 camper trailer but we carry electric drum brakes in many sizes so we can help you with new brake assemblies you can bolt on. I was able to confirm the camper is a tandem axle and that is has a dry weight of around 3600-lbs. This means it is likely to have two 2000-lb axles.
You'll still want to check the trailer's axle rating, usually found on a sticker or plate on the axle beam or on the trailer's main I.D. plate, so you can match up brakes of the right capacity. You'll also want to pull one hub so you can measure its width and diameter. Please see the linked photo.
Also note the brake flange mounting hole pattern so you can match that up too.
Once you know these bits of information you can use the linked page to select replacement electric drum brake assemblies. Just click on your axle rating, we'll say 2000-lbs for example, to see suitable brakes. Usually 2K axles take 7 x 1-1/4-inch brakes like # AKEBRK-2R and # AKEBRK-2L.
Be sure to select a left and right brake for each axle.
It does not matter which brake wire you use as ground versus hot since the wires on a brake are non-polarized.
