Question:
I am looking for an electric brake kit brakes, hubs, bearings, seals for a 2004 Aliner Expedition. I do not know what type axle I have but I think it may be an AL-KO 2500#. It is about 2 1/4 dia and the trailer wheel is 14 with 5x4 1/2 bolt pattern. The axle has a square mounting plate for the brakes with 4 holes on 2 3/4 centers. Do you have anything that will work? Thanks,

Unlike passenger vehicles where you can look up which component parts were used by running the year, make and model, there isn't an online database that allows you to do that with trailers.
No worries, through, we can help you figure out what you need.
The parts needed will depend on the spindles used on your axle, and which inner and outer wheel bearings are used on it. Pull one of the hubs off (you'll need to do this anyway, might as well be now) and find the reference number stamped on the sides of the carriers that hold the bearings. If both are stamped L44649 or if they aren't marked, they both have an inside diameter of 1.063 inches as measured using a digital caliper like # PTW80157, then the # AKHD-545-2-2K hub/drum you'd looked at would be the correct replacement.
The hub includes the inner and outer bearings, races, grease seal, dust cap and lug nuts as well as the grease. The correct brake assemblies for that hub are # AKEBRK-2R for the right side and # AKEBRK-2L for the left.
If you have different bearings, let me know what you find and we'll get you the correct parts.
