Recommended Suspension and Max Trailer Size I Tow with a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.7L Hemi

Question:
Im looking for a 5th wheel trailer. I own an 07 Dodge Ram 1500, 4x4, 5.7L Hemi. This truck has 140000 miles 90 highway on it but Ive babied her since conception. Soon as she hit 50000 miles I swapped her over to synthetic mobile one oil. The question is, what is the biggest size trailer can I tow. Although the suspension is already built up for the 4x4 Im considering installing air bags to the rear suspension. What would you recommend?

To know the actual max weight you will be able to tow, will want to gas up your vehicle and take it to a weight station to find out the actual weight of the truck. Then you will subtract that number from the 13,000lbs GCWR. We can do this together with the GVWR, this is the max the truck is rated to weight to give you an idea of your highest towing capacity.
I can tell you that the GCWR is 13,000lbs and the Max GVWR is 6,700lbs. (13,000 - 6,700 = 6,300lbs) Once you find your actual truck weight you will want to take that number and add the weight of passengers and cargo you are wanting to haul around in the vehicle and replace it for the 6,700 number in our equation. This will give you the max loaded weight your camper can be. It's important to keep in mind that you will have to install a fifth wheel to tow your camper which on average is about 150-200lbs, so you will need to factor this into your GVW.
From here you will want to pick out a camper and then figure out which 5th wheel will suit it, and your trucks needs. I can better recommend a setup to help you do that if you tell me which camper/trailer you decide to go with.
A suspension for your truck would be a great idea, I would recommend the Firestone # F2286 because of the no drill application. I have also linked a video of them being installed on a 2007 Ram for you to check out.
