Brake Controller and Install Wiring for 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 with 4-Way

Question:

I have a 2007 Ram 1500 with a 4 pole trailer connector. I need to upgrade to a 7 pole for a new trailer with brakes. Do you have the correct harness for this vehicle? Thanks

What you'll need to install like our best selling P3 part # 90195 in your 2007 Dodge Ram with a 4-way is the install harness part # 3020-P and the # 37185.

Brake (blue) wire does not run all the way back to the 4-pole at the rear; it stops at the connector that is located under the driver's side wheel well. In order to finalize the installation you must splice into this wire and continue it back to the plug. I attached a picture that details this step.
