Question:

I have 2 18 ft kayaks I want to tow on the Yakima Rack and Roll with the extension. Are there any tie down points along the tongue? None of the videos or photos seem to show any. If not, can you suggest another solution. Thanks

If you use the Tongue Extension Kit # Y08109 along with your Rack and Roll Trailer # Y08107 then you will be able to transport your two 18-foot kayaks provided their combined weight does not exceed the trailer's limit of 250-lbs. If you need to add weight capacity to the trailer, use Yakima's heavy-duty shock kit # Y08110 which increases total load carrying to 350-lbs.

The tongue extension does not include cargo tie-down points but a ratcheting strap like # EM34423 will help secure the forward ends of the two kayaks by wrapping around the tongue and ratcheting down tightly. Your may prefer a set of 4, such as # EM34420, to secure both ends of the two kayaks.
