Question:

I own a 2011 Ford F-350. The wires are cut behind the plug!some how can I fix this with out splicing?do they sell a plug in where I can unplug further under bed and run back to hitch? Thankyou

I'm assuming you're speaking of the factory tow package harness located behind the rear bumper.

Ford might offer a harness that would allow you to plug in further up the truck bed, but the best bet we offer would be # PK11998 pigtail or if you're also missing the trailer connector, part # HM40975-11998.

The pigtail would need to be connected to the cut wiring, so I'd recommend using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to determine which wire carries which circuit. Have a helper activate the right turn signal, then probe the wires with the tester until you find the wire that makes the tester flash. Connect the green pigtail wire to that circuit. Activate the left turn signal, and locate which wire makes the tester blink, connect to the red wire. Turn on the running lamps, test and connect to the brown pigtail wire. Shift transmission into reverse, probe wires for reverse light circuit, connect to yellow wire. White wires connect together black pigtail wire connects to tow package wire that puts off a constant 12-volts (usually a red or orange wire) and the blue pigtail wire would connect to the blue tow package wire.
