2007 Toyota Tundra 12V Trailer Wiring Circuit Not Active

Published 12/18/2015

Question:

I have a 2007 toyota Tundra that is getting no power to the 12v trailer charging pole. All other lights and turn singles work fine but the 12v is getting not power is their a fuse I am missing some place in the truck? Weuse the truck for towing our dirt bike trailer. I have add LED lights to the interior for late nights at the track along with a battery. I am wanting to make sure the battery charges when I am on the road so I can use them when we get home.

There will be a fuse and/or relay associated with the 12 volt accessory circuit of the 7-way on your 2007 Toyota Tundra. Check under the hood of the truck for that circuit and replace as needed.

Your other option is to run a 10 gauge wire from the 1:00 position of the 7:way all the way up to the positive side of the battery. You would need part # 10-1-1 for 10 gauge wire (sold by the foot), and then a circuit breaker to install on this circuit like part # 9510 as well.
