Question:
I have a 2011 Ford Fusion and I would liked to install a wheelchair lift. I would like to know the holding weight.

Expert Reply:
The hitches available for you 2011 Ford Fusion are Class I hitches like the part # 24865 which has a 200 lb tongue weight capacity. This means that you could carry up to 200 lbs of weight from a wheel chair carrier and wheel chair.
Most likely this will not be enough capacity so the only option you would have for this so you would need a small trailer for transporting the lift.
A small trailer would be the best route.
For trailer wiring you would need the part # 118422, # 3594 for a ball mount, # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball, and part # 19258 for a 2 inch ball.
