Updated 10/29/2015 | Published 10/28/2015 >
Question:
What is the distance from the weld on the back of the 2 inch receiver section to the center of the closest pin hole on the shank? In other words, how far back must the pin hole be on my hitch to use the closest pin hole on the shank of this extender?

I went and grabbed an Advantage SportsRack Hitch Extender # HE6000 from our warehouse to get the dimension you are looking for. The distance from the weld to the nearest pin hole is 3-1/4 inches on the shank.
