Question:

I purchased a hitch extender on Amazon and the depth did not support either of my ball hitches. The extender I purchased and returned is: Curt 45791 The three ball hitch I have is: Neiko 20038A 4-in-1 Steel Trailer Hitch and Triple Ball Mount with Hook What do you recommend?

Thanks for letting me know what you have tried and what you currently have for a ball mount. It looks like you want an 8 inch extension and the Curt # C45791 was not the fit you desired. We have used this extension with other similar Curt products without issue (see photo), but we don't have the Neiko ball mount to confirm fit.

It sounds like the ball mount may have a slightly longer shank behind the hitch pin holes than most, so I recommend trying a slightly longer extension like the Advantage SportsRack Hitch Extender for 2" Trailer Hitches - 11" Long # HE6000.

I know both the Curt Extender and the Advantage extender will work with the Curt Multi-Ball Mount w/ Tow Hook for 2" Hitches # C45675 so I can only assume the ball mount you have isn't drilled properly.
