Question:
Thanks for answering my previous question promptly. I am currently in process of installing your hitch on my 2011 Lexus RX350. All went smoothly. However, after removing the trim fascia, I discovered a 4 pin connector with cap attached to the drivers side about where I would expect a trailer light connector to be. If this is a factory installed lighting connector, do I need to go through the aggravation of using your C55563 harness or simply connect to what exists using a different harness? To the best of my knowledge this car did not come with a towing package.

You can test that connector you found on your 2011 Lexus RX350 to determine if it is indeed a connection point for trailer wiring and if it is active. Use a circuit tester such as # PTW2993 to test the connector while someone goes through the lighting functions in the cab of the vehicle. If it has power, then you could use harness # 118252.
