do you have this kind of connector with the wire? i have a 1988 f150and this connector is for the back lighting

We have 2 wiring harnesses for your 1988 Ford F-150; # C55316 and # 118316. They both install the same way; by plugging in line with the tail light wiring under the truck. I have linked a video showing how the 118316 installs.
