Turn Signals Blink Fast After Installing Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2015 Ford Escape

Question:
After installing my trailer hitch and wiring my Tow Ready 118566 T-Connector Assembly on my 2015 Ford Escape Titanium,my turn signals now blink very fast. Emergency flashers are fine, only the turn signals. This only happened after installing the fuse in the fuse holder and trying the turn signals. I checked the plug and everything is fine there. After this happened, I removed the fuse but the turn signals still blink fast. What do I need to do in order to correct this problem?

It sounds like you are experiencing a hyper flashing issue. This usually happens if LED lights were added to a vehicle or if an incandescent bulb has burned out or is about to burn out but this is the first time I have heard of it related to installation of a trailer wiring harness.
Make sure that the harness ground wire is attached to a clean bare metal surface. There can't be any paint or coating where it is grounded. It should also be grounded by itself and not share a ground location.
If you were to disconnect the harness and plug the vehicle wiring back into the tail lights and the problem still persists then it is likely a problem with the vehicles flasher or relay that controls the turn signals.

Hello, what if after disconnecting the harness circuit everything is back to normal? I installed a curt wiring harness as per the manufacturer instruction, it works but left signal is blinking faster, and when I disconnect the trailer circuit signals are fine. I double checked, grounding, connection, etc... everything is connected properly, I am thinking could it be a faulty wiring harness or converter? Thanks
