Question:
I have the Swagman XC 2 bike rack with the combo 1-1/4 and 2inch hitch shank hooked up to a 2inch hitch on my 2012 Ford Escape. Is the Swagman S64031 the correct hitch lock and cable to use with my bike rack and hitch? There is also the S64030 for 2inch hitch only so Im kind of confused which one to order. Thanks

The Swagman Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock and Cable Set, # S64031, is the correct lock and cable set for your XC-2 bike rack. This set was designed for all Swagman bike racks that have a 1-1/4 inch square shank, even if they come with the 2-inch shank adapter. These bike racks require the smaller pin that is included with this set, even on 2 inch hitches. The smaller pin is more than capable of holding your bike rack to a 2 inch hitch, so you will not have to worry about that.
The 2-Inch lock and cable set, # S64030, was designed for bike racks that only have a 2 inch square shank because they were designed with a larger hitch pin hole.
