Splitting Propane from the Tank to a Grill and Stove on an RV
Updated 08/13/2015 | Published 08/12/2015 >
Question:
Hello, We have a Cougar trailer with a quick connect at the rear for a non regulated BBQ that came with the trailer. Its a piece of junk. We bought a small Weber BBQ to use but it has its own regulator and we are told it wont work if the system is already regulated. We want to use the new BBQ and also use a Coleman stove outside at the same time and use the RV propane bottles. I also read the I should use 3/8 hose to get a good supply. I looked at the Camco 59123 but dont see how it connects to our propane tank ahead of the regulator. Can you help. Being able to go about 12 from the tanks would be good.

The Tee part that comes with # CAM59123 would need to install between the propane tank and the regulator. The end of the Tee that has the rubber washer (soft nose) is the end that connects to the propane supply. Depending on how your tanks are set up you may or may not need some type of adapter. We have a few and I have included a link to them for you.
