Question:

I am verifying that this trailer hitch will work for a 2015 Honda Fit EX and a hitch-mounted bike rack with a 1-1/4 inch Receiver.

I have a better solution for you, but yes the Curt hitch part #C11406 has been confirmed as a fit for your 2015 Honda Fit and would work with a Class I compatible bike rack.

Since Curt requires the use of a stabilizer strap with their hitches when used with a non-supported load like a bike rack a better solution would be the Draw Tite Hitch part# 24920 as it does not have the strap stipulation.

The Swagman XTC2, part # S64670 is one of the most popular racks because it's so easy to use, and because the rack has an angled shank that would raise the bike rack up by three inches providing additional ground clearance. Because of that, this is the rack I'd recommend for you. The rack includes an anti-rattle hitch bolt, but a combination anti-rattle hitch lock/cable lock is available separately as part # S64031.
