Question:
Im looking for a 1 7/8inch ball with a capacity above 3500lbs -ideally about 5000lbs. The only ones I can find on your site are the convertable balls. Are simple balls made in that capacity?

We do offer a 1-7/8 inch diameter trailer ball with a maximum capacity of 8,000 lbs, but it is an Interchangable Hitch Ball Set from Tow Ready, part # 63802. In order to get a higher capacity like that, you would need to go with an interchangeable ball set. Another option would be the Convert-A-Ball # 105TB which would also have a 10,000 lb capacity.
You'll want to make sure the ball you choose has a shank the same diameter as the hole on your ball mount. Both trailer balls I mentioned have a 1 inch diameter shank.
