Question:

2001 Toyota Tundra Access cab short bed with full factory installed slip-in bed and rail liner. Does the Access Roll up require any cutting or drilling of the bed liner for installation? Does it have a locking device for the cover and tailgate? What is your top selling roll up or fold up tonneau cover.

Expert Reply:

The available Access Roll Up Tonneau covers for your 2001 Toyota Tundra short bed do not require any cutting or drilling for installation as they fit with most bed liners. However, I spoke with my contact at Access and she stated that while the covers will work with most bed liners, it is possible that you might have to cut the bed liner where the clamps mount. She also stated the rail liner will not interfere.

The covers themselves do not have a locking device, but if your tailgate is locked, the cover cannot be removed. The most popular Access Roll Up cover for the 2001 short bed model is the Lorado Roll-Up Tonneau Cover by Access, # 834532006656.

We actually have numerous Tonneau options for your vehicle. I have included a link below to the Access covers.
