Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look together at this heavy-duty weld on spring latch with holdback for trailers. This heavy-duty latch is gonna be perfect for truck and trailer bodies. It is designed to stay open when you pull it back, as you can see right here. And the spring loaded latch is going to secure trailer tailgates, ramps and doors.
It's gonna be a weld on insulation. It's rust resistant. It has a zinc coating on it, so it's gonna hold up really well against the elements that it's gonna be constantly exposed to. Let me give you some measurements. Take a look at the bracket first.
The overall length, we're sitting pretty close to two inches long. The overall width about an inch and a half, and then the depth, it's kind of hard to show. Let me see if I can do that. Right at about seven eighths of an inch. And then that latch pin, looks like a little over four inches long and the diameter is a half an inch.
That extension is right at about an inch. So as you can see this little extension right here or knob, when you pull that back, you give it a twist and then it's going to secure in that slot right there. So that's what's gonna keep it held back. Then you give it a twist and then it'll spring back into action. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today.
