Is Adapter Available to Carry Childrens 16 Inch Bike with Kuat Sherpa

Can the Kuat models Sherpa or NV be used with 16inch kid bikes? If an adapter is needed, which one? Part PN2024 says it is for 20inch wheels so that isnt sufficient, correct?

Even with Wheel Adapter, # PN2024, the smallest bike that can be carried on the Kuat Sherpa, # SH22G or the Kuat NV, # NV22G, is a 20 inch bike so this rack would not work for the 16 inch kid's bike.
Another option would be to go with a hanging rack like the Saris Bones # SA882 and use a bike adapter bar like the Swagman Easy-Out, # 64005. The adapter bar attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and is great for women's, children's, and alternative frame bikes because it gives a horizontal surface to secure to. This allows the bike to be carried more evenly in the carrier while providing more ground clearance.
