Does Ball Mount Have To Place Trailer Ball Exactly Level

Question:
I did your computation online to determine correct rise or . My hitch height is 14-1/4inch and coupler height is 13-1/4 inches, making me need a 1inch of which is not sold anywhere. I currently have a 2inch ball mount. Is there a ball I could buy that would help me with this or any other ideas? Vehicle: 2007 chevy express 1500 v6 van Scamp 13 fiberglass camper, 2012. Thank you!

You will want to choose a ball mount that will place the trailer ball at the appropriate level so that your trailer is towed level, or within 1-1/2 inches plus or minus either way. The ball mount you reference, # D-4, has a rise of 3/4 inch so it should work well for your application. I have included a FAQ article on choosing the correct ball mount for you to check out.
