Where to Install the Breakaway Air Reservoir for Roadmaster BrakeMaster # RM-9160
Published 06/01/2015 >
Question:
2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited 3.2L V6 with active drive II. Looking under the hood of my new jeep, I dont see much room to locate the BrakeAway air reservoir. Is there a recommended location for the reservoir. It needs to be accessible to drain from time to time. Thanks for any help you can give.

The most common locations for mounting the air reservoir portion of the Roadmaster BrakeMaster # RM-9160 are next to the driver's seat and under the dash near the left kick panel. If there is no room under the hood of your vehicle this would be a good location to use.
I have linked an installation video for a similar item, Roadmaster's InvisiBrake # RM-8700, which shows an application in a 2013 Wrangler. It will be necessary to temporarily remove trim panels to do the installation.
