Replacement Spindle Washer Recommendation for a Trailer Spindle

Question:

Over the weekend I replaced the wheel bearings on my new to me camper. I noticed the washer is missing. I am looking for the washers. My bearings have an inner diameter of 1 1/16. The nut and thread is smaller than the shaft. When I tightened the nut, it felt like I ran out of threads. What size washer do I need? There is not a flat spot on the shaft. Thank you

Sounds like you have a 1 inch diameter spindle and would need the part # SW1000 as this washer has an inner diameter of 1 inch.

There is no specific torque rating for the castle nut that holds your hub in place. We recommend tightening the castle nut down until it stops, and then backing it off slightly. Having it too tight would prevent the hub from spinning.
