What are the size of the holes shown in the attached photo?

I went to our warehouse and measured the holes you mentioned you wanted the measurement for on the Lippert 1621 5th Wheel Pin Box, part # LC1387882.

The holes measure 3/8 inch diameter. I have also attached a drawing of this pin box with the dimensions shown from a side view.

What are the 3/8 holes for on the sloped face of 1621 pin box? Can they be filled in to eliminate water intrusion?

Those 4 holes are there in case you'd like to add a cover like part # LC301458 to your pin box. If you don't want to add a cover then you can definitely plug them up because they don't serve for any other kind of function.

@NeilC It looks like you use the 2 lower holes (I'm guessing the upper holes are for different other style covers out there) and then the top of the cover will fit on the underside of your 5th wheel camper.
