Ford trucks like yours that came from the factory with a brake controller will display an error code on the instrument cluster if an aftermarket controller, such as a Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 and its harness # 3034-P, are installed.
To have the TBC error message turned off your local Ford dealer will have to access the Programmable Parameters through an IDS software download and then select the Personality/Dynamics. He can then select the TBC and turn it off. The fault code will now be removed.
