What is the Inside Width of the Roller in CE Smith 4-Inch Spool Roller Assembly

I wondering how wide the inside of the roller is. I want to use a bracket/roller like this to run my winch strap on the front of my boat trlr. The strap on my electric winch is 2 inches wide. Thanks

Expert Reply:
I went out to the warehouse and pulled spool roller assembly # CE10400G to measure the inside width for you. The inside width is 1-3/4 inches so it will not work for you. Instead you will need a 5 inch assembly such as # CE32150G or # CE10451G.
Please note that the rollers are not tested for use with a winch so I can't say whether or not it would work for that application.
