  • Roller and Bracket For Fishing Kayak Loading In Truck Bed With Bed Extender
Hi John; that all depends on where you are mounting it and potentially the truck bed extender you have. I would say something like the CE Smith Spool Roller Assembly # CE32100G you looked at is a pretty universal option that would work well as long as you have a good spot to mount the bracket. The mounting holes are 3" apart on center so if you were trying to mount it on something like the # FHG89ZR you could probably pick up some U-bolts locally and put a few rollers on the main beam...

  • Spacing and Dimensions of the CE Smith Spool Roller Assembly?
I have attached a picture that shows the dimensions of the CE Smith Spool Roller Assembly for Boat Trailers item # CE32100G. It measures 2-1/4-inches from the bottom of its mounting plate up to the center of the rubber roller. Overall width is 5-inches and overall height is 3-3/4-inches.

I went to our warehouse and measured the CE Smith Spool Roller Assembly for Boat Trailers # CE32100G. It measures 2-1/4-inches from the bottom of its mounting plate up to the center of the rubber roller. Overall width is 5-inches and overall height is 3-3/4-inches. All of these dimensions are noted on the photo I prepared for you.

I went out and measured the CE Smith Spool Roller Assembly # CE32100G and the width of the flat part in the center of the spool is 1-3/4" as shown in the below diagram.

For the Roller part # CE32100G that your referenced the distance from the mounting surface up to the top of the roller measures 3-5/8 inches. The roller part # CE32150G that you referenced instead measures 3-3/8 inches.

  • Recommended Rollers For Getting 320lb Catamaran On Dock Above The Water
I reached out to my contact at CE Smith and unfortunately they were unable to provide a weight capacity of the # CE32100G you were looking at. Another option that I know will work is adding the CE Smith Roller Bunks for Boat Trailers - 6 Rollers Each - 5' Long - 1,500 lbs - 1 Pair # CE27710 to your dock. These roller bunks have a weight capacity of 1500lb so they will be plenty strong for your Catamaran that weighs 320lbs, and putting one bunk under each pontoon will make getting the boat...

  • Could the CE Smith Spool Roller Assembly part # CE32100G be used with a Transom Saver
Transom savers install by having one end attach to the lower section of your outboard motor and the other end goes to some point on the trailer. Typically a roller. The CE Smith Spool Roller Assembly part # CE32100G would work well for this.

  • Is The Roller On The CE Smith Spool Roller Assembly Removable?
The CE Smith Spool Roller Assembly for Boat Trailers - Galvanized Steel and Black Rubber - 4" # CE32100G has a keel roller that can be removed. If removed, you will require a Replacement Cap Nut 5/8 inch like found in the Roller Shaft with Pal Nuts for Boat Trailer Rollers - Zinc-Plated Steel - 5-1/4" x 5/8" # CE10721A for 4 inch rollers.

  • Measurements of CE Smith Rollers and Brackets # CE32100G and # CE32110G
First, roller with bracket # CE32100G is not going to work because the mounting holes on it are spaced 3 inches apart on center so it would be too wide. It measure approximately 2-1/2 inches from the bottom of the bracket to the center of the shaft. The overall height is approximately 3-13/16 inches. And from the center of the shaft to the top of the roller is approximately 1-3/8 inches. Roller and bracket # CE32110G has mounting holes that are a little closer together at 2-1/2 inches...

  • Recommendation for Spool Rollers for 18ft Wood Boat on Custom Boat Trailer
I do have a solution for you, however the CE Smith Spool Roller Assembly # CE32100G aren't wide enough to safely support the boat keel of your 18 foot Norwegian Faering. I recommend something a bit wider like the CE Smith Deep V Keel Roller Assembly # CE10453G with an 8 inch roller and mounting slots spaced 6 inches apart. You will want to have one for each cross member on your boat trailer. The only other thing you will need are 1/2" or 7/16" fasteners. I have included a video review...

  • Installing Boat Trailer Roller Assembly
The CE Smith Spool Roller Assembly for Boat Trailers - Galvanized Steel and Black Rubber - 4" # CE32100G can simply have a pal nut removed to pull out the pin and remove the roller and then install the bracket. Reinstall the pin and roller with the pal nut/cap nut. If you do this carefully it won't damage the pal nut, however if you don't then you can use # CE10801 to replace it. It is possible to install the unit without removing the roller depending on the angle you use for the hardware.

  • Availability of 8 Inch Long Boat Trailer Spool Roller
It is indeed possible to purchase the roller minus the bracket. Yates offers a Spool Roller that's 8 inches long that's designed for a 5/8 inch shaft, part # YR8302-5. If you needed the panel bracket, it's part # CE10303G and part # CE10725A for the 5/8 inch shaft and pal nuts.

  • Availability of a Spool Roller Assembly Without the Roller
The closest thing that we carry to the roller assembly # CE32100G at this time is the Panel Bracket # CE10300G. This does not include the shaft or the end caps, so you will need the Roller Shaft with Pal Nuts # CE10721A as well.
