This rear-loading, saddle-style carrier lets you transport 1 kayak, hull side down. It has V-shaped cradles lined with rubber padding to protect your boat from scratches and scuffs while loading and during transport. This padding also creates friction while you're pushing your kayak onto the carrier, making it less likely that you'll push the kayak too far and potentially have it fall off the carrier and hit your vehicle. And if you struggle with lifting a kayak over your head, you can add a load assist (sold separately) to reduce the strain of loading your boat onto the carrier.
The carrier includes 2 cam-buckle straps to secure your kayak to the carrier. Cutouts on the outside edge of the SeaWing help keep the straps in place while securing and transporting your kayak. A set of bow/stern tie-downs are also included to secure the kayak to the front and back of your vehicle. If your vehicle doesn't have any tie-down points, you can get an anchor kit (sold separately) which will let you create anchor points in the creases of your vehicle's hood and hatch.
The carrier clamps to most crossbars without the need for tools. Simply set the carrier on your crossbars, slide the mounting brackets over the bolts, and secure them with the T-knobs.

Did not work that well with Hobie Lynx kayak.
Videos are great, Product and custom pictures help decide which product works best on my vehicle. If there are issues they resolved quickly. I have not talked directly with anyone, but emails are friendly and professional.
Easy to assemble and had minimal vibration at 75mph
So far so good. I have used it twice. Easy to install, there are some extra parts. It would be nice to know that, I always think I have missed something. I do put a yoga met on the back of my car just to be sure. I have a high car.
Easy to install on my Outback. Very helpful for loading and unloading my kayak.
Used with Hobie Lynx kayak. Width was great but Hobie kayak is more of a flat bottom so rear loading "V" does not work that well.
