Will the malone megawing and seawing kayak carriers work with yakima HD cross bars?

I have a great kayak transportation route for you. Unfortunately, the Malone MegaWing # MPG207 and SeaWing # MPG107MD do not have clamps that are able to mount onto the Yakima HD Crossbars like the # Y01158. This is because the Yakima Crossbars are too thick.

However, for a great kayak carrier that can clamp onto the bars is the Yakima JayLow Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs - J-Style or Post Style - Folding - 1 or 2 Kayaks # Y04073. Since the cradles on the JayLow can accommodate crossbars up to 3-1/2" wide x 1-11/16" tall, they are perfect for the 3" wide x 1-1/2" tall Yakima HD Crossbars. The JayLow is perfect for transporting up to 2 kayaks. It comes with all straps required for a single kayak, but you can feel free to purchase the Yakima Bow/Stern Tie-Down Ropes w/ Ratchets and Strap Loops - 1/4" x 12' # Y04031 for a second boat. Also, for theft deterrence, I recommend the Yakima Same-Key Locks # Y07202.
