Hello Pete,

Great question! I wasn’t sure at first, so I took a stroll out to the warehouse to check if things line up.

I’m sorry, but the Swagman Exo Aero Rooftop Kayak Roof Rack w/ Tie-Downs – Saddle Style – Clamp On # S65145 will not work with the Stinger Load Assist for Malone SeaWing Kayak Carrier # MPG350. Instead, you’ll want the Malone SeaWing Kayak Roof Rack w/ Tie-Downs – Saddle Style – Clamp On # MPG107MD to pair with the # MPG350.

The Swagman # S65145 won’t work because its mounting holes are only 4" apart, while the Malone # MPG107MD has holes 4 1/4" apart, which line up perfectly with the Stinger # MPG350. I attached some pictures so you can see exactly what I mean. In fact, you may want to consider the Malone SeaWing Kayak Roof Rack w/ Load Assist and Tie-Downs – Saddle Style – Clamp On # MPG113MD, which comes with both the # MPG350 and # MPG107MD together.

What kind of kayaks do you have? Do you have a favorite body of water you like to take them out on? I try to meet up with my friend every Friday to paddle on the lake she lives on, it’s so fun and relaxing after a weeks work.

Oh wow, what a great job of research you did. I couldn't find the hole spacing information for these which I figured would be the issue. Thank you very much for taking the time to find out. We have a Perception Sonoma 10.0 and a Pelican Mustang 100X We live on Bainbridge Island in Washington. Like to kayak in protected areas around the island. Eagle Harbor, Blakely Harbor, Port Madison, Manzanita, around the island. Also Seabeck and Lake Crescent if we want a road trip.

@PeteP My pleasure, Pete! Those are some nice, lightweight kayaks you’ve got. I looked up Seabeck and Lake Crescent, and I can see why you’d make the road trip, they both look amazing. I grew up on the West Coast (Southern California, please don’t hold that against me) but never had the chance to visit Washington. My little brother lived up there for a while and loved it, so it’s definitely on my bucket list of places to explore. Thanks for sharing those spots with me! I enjoy looking up where our neighbors (customers) go adventuring, it gives me a moment to daydream. If you ever have any questions in the future, you know where to find us. Be safe, and keep on paddling! =)
