Rugged, Matte Black Finish

The sturdy steel construction is protected with a matte black finish for added durability. This unique powder coating gives etrailer hitches a carbide-like appearance and a rugged look that sets them apart from traditional glossy hitches. In addition to being rust and corrosion resistant, the tough matte coating hides dirt, scuffs, and dings better than a glossy finish.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch And Wiring For A 2024 Kia Sportage
The etrailer class 3 hitch # e38KR will indeed fit your 2024 Kia Sportage. We have confirmed with the manufacturer that it will carry over to the 2024 models. Install will be pretty easy, just 3 bolts on each side and no drilling required. You may need to trim a small section of the bumper fascia. We do offer the Curt wiring harness # C59236 which can be used on your 2024 Sportage. This harness will require cutting and splicing of the vehicles harness. At this time (September 2023) there...

  • Hitch Recommendation for 2024 Kia Sportage Hybrid
The etrailer hitch part # e38KR is a confirmed fit for your 2024 Kia Sportage hybrid and would be what I would recommend. This hitch is mostly hidden since only the hitch opening hangs below the bumper and it has great towing capacities.

  • Recommended Hitch and Wiring for Towing With 2026 Hyundai Tucson
Hey Chris! I would be happy to help you again. For a hitch that fits your 2026 Tucson I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch # e38KR. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver and a matte black finish. Then for wiring you can use the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C28DQ. This will plug into the connection points behind your tail lights and provide you with a 4-way to power the lights on your trailer. If you need a ball mount as well check out the etrailer Adjustable 2-Ball...

  • Stealth/Hidden Trailer Hitch For A 2026 Kia Sportage X-Pro Prestige Gas Model
Hi Eugene! I did a bunch of digging and it looks like the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # EH82KR is only listed to fit the Hybrid options for the 2026 Kia Sportage line. We do have other options, though not hidden, that are listed to fit your X-Pro Prestige gas model though, and I have the one I recommend for that listed below: etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e38KR The matte black finish on this hitch will...

  • Will etrailer Hitch and e-Bike Rack for 2024 Hyundai Tucson Obstruct Back Up Camera
Hey Ross, with the etrailer hitch part # e38KR installed on your 2024 Hyundai Tucson and using an e-bike rack like the Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202 you'd at least partially obstruct the rear view camera but you still will be able to see mostly around the bikes and rack since it's not a rack that has a lot of things going on above the platform of the rack.

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch For A 2023/2024 Kia Sportage And Sportage Hybrid
Hey Chris, Yes, the trailer hitches you're seeing (listed below) are a confirmed fit for all models of the Kia Sportage from 2023 - 2024. Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT22MR Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C94WR etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e38KR Of the three I recommend the I recommend the Curt # C94WR. It's a bit slimmer than the Draw-Tite and will have less potential to hold onto dirt and debris that could end up corroding the paint.

  • Why Class 3 Trailer Hitch For 2025 Kia Sportage
Hey Brian, So the reason to go with a Class III hitch for a 2025 Kia Sportage is that's actually the only class hitch that fits; you're right a Class II would suffice for towing if they were made, but the only options are the Class III etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e38KR or Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C94WR. These are essentially the same hitch, with the only difference being the matte black finish of the etrailer hitch, but these hitches are mostly hidden under the bumper so I'd...

  • Will etrailer Hitch Fit a 2025 Hyundai Tucson
Hey Randy, Yes, the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e38KR will fit your 2025 Hyundai Tucson. I'm not sure what the holdup is on Hyundai's end, but the aftermarket companies have already confirmed fitments so you can be confident this will fit your vehicle. If you let me know what you plan on using the hitch for I'd be more than happy to make an additional recommendation for you!

  • Recommended Bike Rack for 2025 Hyundai Tucson for Bike Rack
Hello Neil; Class III hitches are the only option available for your 2025 Hyundai Tucson. Regardless, I would still recommend a Class III since it gives you the most options for bike racks. It also means you have a higher capacity and greater capability if you want to carry a heavier rack/bikes later on or do some towing. The etrailer # e38KR is the best choice and can handle any 2-bike rack out there. If you haven't decided on a bike rack yet, check out the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider...

This is a custom fit class III hitch with a 2" receiver that will bolt directly to your Kia with included hardware. • Best Hitch for a 2025 Hyundai Tucson
Yes, we do Mick! The best hitch for your 2025 Hyundai Tucson is the Curt item # C94WR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Tucson with included hardware. It is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver that has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity and a 525 lbs maximum tongue weight. The reason this is the best hitch for you Hyundai is because of the way it installs. The main portion of the hitch, the crosstube, mounts entirely behind your rear bumper. This leaves only the 2" receiver visible....

  • Trailer Wiring for 2025 Hyundai Tucson With etrailer Hitch
Hey Paul! Any 4-way/7-way will work with the etrailer # e38KR since the wiring isn't hitch dependent. At this time, there are no custom fit wiring harnesses available for the 2025 Tucson so the only option for a 4-way is the # C59236. If you want to add a 7-way you will also need the # ETBC7. If you need a ball mount to complete your setup check out the etrailer Adjustable 2-Ball Mount # e66PR. Is the wiring for a trailer or do you have an accessory with lights?

  • Comparing Curt C94WR And etrailer e38KR For The 2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid
Hey thanks for reaching out, Brian. Both the Curt # C94WR and the etrailer # e38KR are confirmed to fit the 2024 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid. These hitches are very similar. Our etrailer brand hitch is actually made by Curt so both hitches are structurally the same and have the same weight capacity. The only noteworthy difference is the coating on the hitch. The Curt hitch uses a gloss black finish, while the etrailer brand hitch uses a matte black powder coating. We went with the matte black...

Hey Steve, Besides the overall capacities of this hitch, the physical weight of the hitch, # e38KR is 30lbs. Now for me 10lbs would have been tough but this is on the lighter side compared to other hitches out there. What are you looking to use the hitch for?

  • Correct Hitch And Wiring Harness For 2024 Hyundai Tucson
Hello James. It sounds like you are on the right track here, because the etrailer Class 3 hitch # e38KR is indeed the correct hitch for the 2024 Hyundai Tucson. For the wiring, the # CU94FR you mentioned is correct for the 2024 Tucson, but this will only fit models equipped with the factory tow package. Basically, it will plug into a factory connector behind the passenger side rear access panel. If you do not have the factory tow package, use the OEM Replacement Harness # TK44ZR instead.

  • Bolt Size for Hitch on 2023 Hyundai Tucson
Hi Brian; what hitch do you have on your Tucson? If it is an etrailer # e38KR or Curt # C94WR it uses six hex bolts, M10 x 1.25–35mm, CL 10.9. If it is the Draw-Tite # DT22MR it uses six hex bolts, M10 X 1.25 X 35 CL 8.8. If you have the EcoHitch # EH98SR I don't have the bolt specs handy, but I know the installation process also takes spacer blocks so you will want to get the full Replacement Hardware Kit # RHK unless you're only missing a single bolt.

  • How Often Should Trailer Hitch Bolts be Retorqued for 2024 Hyundai Tucson
Thanks for reaching out again, Joanne! Yes, the etrailer Hitch Receiver # e38KR for your 2024 Hyundai Tucson states that the M10 bolts need to be torqued to 48 ft-lbs. Higher up on in the instructions we state just to periodically check the torque specs just to make sure none of the bolts have loosened up from road vibrations. There isn't a set amount of time or anything for this since each person will have a different driving experience. I would say it's healthy to recheck the bolts...

  • What Does etrailer Recommend for Protecting Hitches Against Rust
Thanks for purchasing the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e38KR for your 2024 Hyundai Tucson, Joanne! The only product we've ever really recommended for helping to protect the paint on hitches is to spray paint any areas that have been scratched to help keep rust from starting to form. You're more than welcome to add something else to it to add some more protection, but we don't have an official take on what to use for that.
