Hello neighbors, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at the replacement hardware for the CURT universal fifth wheel installation kit. It's a 10 bolt. Now those rails will look something like this image above my left shoulder, and they will go into bed of your truck. Now folks, these are universal brackets and base rails. Those are sold separately.
So again, this is just the hardware kit, rather. The universal brackets and base rails you can purchase separately. So this is all rust resistant. It's got a nice zinc finish on it. All the bolts, nuts, washers, spacers are included.
Here's an overhead look so you can kinda see size-wise about how big things are. These blocks here, spacer blocks, all your nuts, bolts everything here. Some of 'em have the splines on 'em to go inside and hold strong. The rest of these are carrot style bolts. They got the square head.
Again, just a replacement hardware kit. You even got the fish wire here. If you're not familiar with this guy, all the bolts that have to get pulled through the frame, they simply thread into the part down here, and then you would pull them through the frame, and that's gonna help you fish it through the frame. So a very nice addition to the kit. Now folks, that's gonna wrap it up for our look at this replacement hardware kit for the CURT universal fifth wheel installation kit, the 10 volt rails.

Who thought those are really strong bolts. I found that out accidently. On my first trip with my new 5th wheel, I picked up my pickup by the trailer hitch. It was a rainy day and I used my remote to lift the rear electric jacks. I also used it to bring up the front hydraulic jacks. Well "UP" means lift up the trailer instead of lift up the legs. When I walked out of the 5th wheel, there was my GMC Diesel Pickup hanging by the hitch. Good news, nothing broke ....nothing bent. For the rest of the trip I ALWAYS WATCHED MY FRONT LEGS RETRACT. Thanks for strong bolts.
