What are the Correct Curt 5th Wheel Brackets for a 2018 Ram 3500

Question:

Is the Curt Bracket kit CU96FR correct for my 2018 ram 3500 with 6 1/2 foot bed? I have a curt A20 5th wheel sliding hitch with 16200 rails.

Yes, the Curt Custom 5th Wheel Bracket Kit for Dodge Ram part # CU96FR is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Ram 3500 and will allow you to install the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16541 in the bed of your truck using the base rails included with the Curt Universal Fifth Wheel Base Rails with Installation Kit part # C16200.

The frame brackets come with the hardware needed for installation but you will also need the hardware for the base rails if you do not already them and for this I recommend part # C16111 which comes with a few extra pieces as well that will not be used.

For an in-bed wiring harness, the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness part # C56000 would be a direct fit for you. I have attached an install video of the above brackets on a similar 2014 Ram 3500 for you as well.
