Question:

I have the a16 slider hitch with top mount rail pedestal in my 2015 ram 2500. Im trading trucks to. 2017 silverado 2500 will this pedestal work from ram to silverado thx

I'm not quite sure what you mean for rail pedestal, so I'll give you both possibilities.

If you mean the adapter from your factory pucks like the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider - Ram Towing Prep Package # C16022, then you will need the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider - Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C16023 because the pucks are in different locations in these two brands of trucks. This is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Silverado 2500 and will work well with your A16 hitch.

If you don't have factory rail systems in either truck then you can reuse your above bed rails. But you will need different brackets and hardware. For the brackets compatible with your 2017 Chevy, I recommend the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Bracket Kit for Chevy/GMC # C16411. For the rail hardware I recommend the Replacement Hardware for Curt Universal 5th Wheel Installation Kit - 10 Bolt # C16111 because your old hardware is only rated for one time use.
