CE Smith Boat Trailer Parts - CE31013G

  • CE Smith

This heavy-duty stand gives you the freedom to mount a winch wherever you choose on your trailer's 2" tongue. Its 14 mounting holes allow you to adjust the height of your winch. Made of hot-dipped galvanized, 12-gauge steel.

Features:

  • Heavy-duty winch stand supports a winch on your trailer's 2" tongue
  • 14 Mounting holes allow you to adjust height of winch during installation
  • Sturdy, hot-dipped galvanized, 12-gauge steel construction
  • Made in the USA

Specs:

  • Application: 2" trailer tongues
  • Dimensions: 30" tall x 2" wide

This winch stand mounts on your trailer by clamping around the 2" wide tongue. The holes on the base provide multiple mounting options and angles, and the surface where you mount the winch is slightly angled to help with winch operation.

Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel

Hot dipped galvanized steel parts are stamped from a sheet of steel. The edges of the galvanized parts often lose their zinc coating during the stamping process. Because of the thinness of the coating (less than 1 mil) and the fact that the edges remain exposed, galvanized parts can begin to oxidize and rust quickly, so it's recommended that they be primed and painted.

shipped in same package as other items and arrived early.

by:

This product fit my trailer (OUTLAW) perfectly. It was a little taller than the original, but it did the job just as well. I couldn't find it anywhere but at e-trailer. Thank you.

by:

etrailer was the only place I could find a winch stand for the boat trailer I was building. The stand arrived today and was everything I hoped it would be. The galvanizing is uniform and complete and the stand fits perfectly on the 2 trailer tongue. Ill send photos when the trailer is complete.
The stand came in the best and most secure packaging I have ever received. I would recommend etrailer without qualification.

I received my trailer winch mast today- shipping to Canada was the quickest I've ever experienced. I purchased a light weight "sport" trailer that utilizes two cargo bars (a roof rack on trailer wheels).
Yours was the only light weight mast to fit a 2" X 3" trailer tongue I could find anywhere. Thanks to you, my 18' rowboat has a solid bow stop and a sturdy front tie point. It fit like a glove.

by:

Excellent quality and just like it showed . Worked perfectly on my grandson’s kayak trailer. I forgot the hardware to bolt it up but that was on me. A quick trip to Ace Hardware and it was ready. Very good service from the Etrailer team.

Heck yeah! I am glad it is working great for you. What kind of kayaks do you or your grandson have??

by:

Great service, easy to order, arrived in two days, just what I needed for my trailer. I’m very pleased and would have given 5 stars except for the packaging they used. Although they did use a heavy corrugated box the heavy metal part was not packed nor properly cushioned to prevent the product from breaking through the box. Fortunately product suffered no damage from UPS.

by:

No mounting bolts. Now I have to make another trip to hardware store. I wanted to install upon arrival. The little things matter.

by:

PERFECT. This was exactly what I was looking for and didn't know if it existed. My Kayak Trailer is a bit smaller than regular boat trailers, this extension for my winch means I can Fish for a bit longer without throwing my back out moving my BONAFIDE SS127 around. Thanks for being Forward thinking and helping us in making Kayak Fishing The New Thing. Thanks guys, I will send some pictures of the modification.

by:

I haul my whitewater raft (it is a cataraft) on my utility trailer and I needed a winch mount that was strong and gave me some elevation above the trailer tongue. This was the perfect solution. It only took me a few minutes to mount with four 3 inch by 3/8" bolts (not included). This winch mount was inexpensive, simple, feels really solid and seems to be working perfectly. eTrailer is always great to do business with.

by:

I used this CE Smith Winch Stand to mount a light weight boat winch on my Kayak Trailer, just what I needed, works great.

by:

Great product and fast delivery

by:

This is very sturdy. I put a winch on it to pull a small aluminum boat onto a trailer and have no problems. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. I would buy again but doubt I will have to.

This winch stand was perfect for my needs. I had tried fabricating one before I found etrailer.com. Sure makes the job easier when you have the right parts.

All working well, thanks.

This device fit perfectly on my Malone kayak trailer which I am converting to accommodate my float boat. It installed easily with (4) 3/8 bolts

by:

Customer had an accident and damaged trailer. Winch stand, bow roller mount and rubber bow wedge were all as described fit great and my order was filled and shipped quickly. Very pleased with products and service.

by:

This product arrived on time and is just what I need to repair my broken snowmobile trailer. Great communication from George about the timing of shipping.

by:

Seems to be a durable products ( CE31013G) and (CE31005PG) but no installation tips instructions included. No hardware. Should provide hardware size/type information.

by:

As always, and easy, pleasurable shopping experience with etrailer! Not only do they ship out quickly and send you exactly what you ordered, but their customer service and follow up is unmatched!

by:

Solved a space problem with winch post that came on trailer.

by:

Works great for mounting on a raft trailer. Well built will need to finish so it doesn't rust, but otherwise does what it is supposed to.

by:

This is the third or fourth order I have placed with e-trailer, and each time they have packaged the items correctly and they have been recieved in the suggested amount of time, with no damage or loss; exactly what I ordered. i would highly recommend this company. Roger B.

by:

This company has the best pricing online and everything u need for a trailer. Will do business in the future. Thanks etrailers.

by:

Product was on backorder. Waited more than three weeks. It was worth it. It was durable, well made except it missed one hole on one side and I have to drill a hole so the bolt can go through from one side to the other.

by:

Needed this for a small trailer. Perfect ! Existing holes almost did the whole job. I only had to drill two new holes.

by:

Part worked as it should. Was a bit tall for my application, but not a serious problem.

  • Option For Karavan Trailer Winch Stand
Hi Michael, While we don't have any way of knowing what winch stand goes on any specific trailer, it is possible we have an option for a winch stand for your Karavan trailer. The only option we have for a stand is the CE Smith Winch Stand # CE31013G. This is a 30" tall stand and will clamp around a 2" wide trailer tongue.

  • Recommended Rubber Bow Stop
Hey Michael. We have quite a few options for standard rubber bow stops but which one you need is going to come down to how wide your current uprights are. One of the Yates Y-Style Bow Stop for Boat Trailers like the 6-1/2" span item # YR6Y33-4 is most likely what's going to work best. I have linked our entire selection below so you can match up what size you need to your uprights. We do not have any brackets for these bow stops.

  • Recommended Replacement Winch Stand for a Boat Trailer
Hey Matt, if you have a standard 2" trailer tongue then the CE Smith Winch Stand # CE31013G will work fine as a replacement. This does not have a weight capacity, but it is made of 12 gauge steel which is pretty strong stuff. Our contacts over at CE Smith have confirmed in the past that this stand can with stand over a 1,000 lbs easily, but the weight of the boat won't be resting entirely on the post so it can handle much more than that. Take your boat to any cool places? I used to...

  • Availability of Winch Stand For 3" Wide Trailer Tongue
Hello Todd, thanks for reaching out. The CE Smith Winch Stand # CE31013G is for a 2" tongue, and this is the only size winch stand we currently offer. Sadly, we do not have one for a 3" tongue. We do have a universal winch mount bracket, part # DL24110 that could be attached to a 3" tongue with a bit of modification. This would be our only option for a 3" tongue. This mount will fit most hand winches up to 2,000 lbs in capacity. Reply below and let me know if you have any questions.

  • Best Way To Add Hand Winch To Yakima EasyRider Kayak Trailer
Hello Dennis, thanks for reaching out. I do have a solution for adding a hand winch to your Yakima EasyRider trailer. The best way to do this is with the CE Smith Winch Stand # CE31013G. This bolts to the 2" tongue and gives you a mounting location for a winch. For the winch I recommend the MaxxTow MaxxHaul Hand Winch # MT50156. This comes with a 20' strap and has a 1,200 lb capacity. Should make loading your fishing kayak a lot easier. What has been your favorite fishing trip so far...

  • Will The Mounting base for Hand Winch Fit On Boat Winch Support?
I wouldn't hesitate to add the 2-Speed Boat Trailer Winch with 20' Strap - 2,500 lbs # 315-W2500D to your 3 inch wide trailer winch post. Many of the boat winch posts are not even that wide. For instance the CE Smith Winch Stand - Galvanized Steel - 30" Tall x 2" Wide # CE31013G. At minimum two bolts are needed to hold the base, but ideally 3 or 4 could be used on your support to give stability and support to your mount. It will not be an issue to have the base overhang the support.
