Recommended Rubber Bow Stop

Updated 10/03/2024 | Published 10/01/2024

Question:

I have a 98 Godfrey Hurricane Fundexk 22 foot. The bow stop on my trailer is a set of uprights like youd see on a bass boat. I want to replace the bow stop with a standard rubber bow stop. Which products would you recommend? Thank you

Hey Michael. We have quite a few options for standard rubber bow stops but which one you need is going to come down to how wide your current uprights are. One of the Yates Y-Style Bow Stop for Boat Trailers like the 6-1/2" span item # YR6Y33-4 is most likely what's going to work best.

I have linked our entire selection below so you can match up what size you need to your uprights. We do not have any brackets for these bow stops.

Since i will be replacing the current bracket and you don't carry it, do you have a recommendation as to where I can get it?

@MichaelS I would talk to your local fabricator. That's specific to the trailer and your boat. You'll probably need something custom made since you're changing your set up.
