Adding trailer wiring doesn’t have to mean cutting or splicing wires. The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package – 7-Way Trailer Connector plugs straight into the existing factory ports. It’s a complete setup with the harnesses and relays needed to activate the tow package, so everything fits right where it should.
This harness gives you a fully functional 7-way trailer connector with all the essential circuits—running lights, turn, stop, reverse, electric brake controller output, 12-volt power, and ground. Wire colors are standard for easy reference: Black – 12V Power, White – Ground, Blue – Brake Output, Red – Reverse, Yellow – Left Turn/Stop, Brown – Running Lights, and Green – Right Turn/Stop. It’s the same USCAR-style 7-blade connection used across most replacement sockets.
Everything about this kit works with the factory tow-ready setup. The main harness plugs in behind body panels and under the vehicle for a clean, protected install. The included relays drop into the factory slots to power up your trailer lighting and towing circuits just like the OEM configuration. There are no loose wires hanging down or extra drilling needed.
Because it uses a standard 7-way connection, you can easily replace or upgrade sockets later with options like the Pollak #PK11893 or other USCAR-compatible connectors. Each wire is color-coded and sealed for dependable contact, making it easy to troubleshoot or maintain if you ever replace components down the road. I installed the hitch by myself in 30 minutes and the electrical took a bit longer but the instructions were very clear and detailed.
I’ve ordered hitches for two different vehicles as well as a roof rack for a third vehicle. Everything is as advertised and fits perfectly. This is my go to spot for legit vehicle products.

The one thing that I missed is I didn't know enough to buy the bracket to mount the plug on the hitch.

worked well but somehow I wiggled the wrong wire and now the rear tailgate door doesn't lock . I will open things up again to try to find the problem. I wish I had a color coded wire diagram.
I had to wire my 2014 nissian Pathfinder trailer hook ups. I got the products from etrailer. Followed the videos. Took me 15 minutes give or take a few. I will always recommend etrailer from now on. I also had a problem with my shipping address and was contacted by email. And etrailer got it figured out quikly.
So a quick prerequisite; to my knowledge this is the ONLY wiring harness available ANYWHERE for a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder. That being said for $** for the Harness and mounting bracket after shipping and handling, it is on heck of a deal.
Heads up, the paper instructions aren’t very detailed. I’d recommend watching a [online] video. etrailer also recommends a video to watch in the emails they send after purchasing.
Shipping was faster than usual and etrailer is very transparent on when they accept your order and when it is actually shipped.
They asked me to take photos of the process probably for this review specifically. I do apologize to anyone expecting to see photos… I Forgot.
Bear in mind you will probably have to get creative with the mounting bracket. Hope you have a cordless drill. Please don’t mount it to the bumper plastic, that is not long term and it will eventually fall off.
Everything works beautifully, it was a pain but it’s worth every penny.

Product was well designed and constructed. Installation instructions were good but finding the mating plugs in the Infinity QX 60 was a chore to see them and to access them. Not the fault of E-Trailers, just the way it was. E-Trailers support has always been excellent and this is the second towing package I have purchase from them.

I have not installed it yet but it looks like it will be a professional plug in. I don’t know if I received a return or not. The plug where the seven way plugs in is cracked. I don’t know how that could be if it was not a return. I super glued and taped it so it should be fine.
I couldn't have done this without the install video on etrailer.com. Taking the trim apart on my vehicle was a lot more comfortable when I walked thought the video step by step. The install was relatively painless. This harness went along with etrailer product number 76301 (trailer hitch receiver). In hind sight, I wish I installed the tail light connectors BEFORE I put in the receiver. The connectors were harder to reach with the receiver in the way.
I DID NOT use the 7 pin connector that came with the package. I wanted a 7-pole and 4-pole connector for flexibility. I used etrailer.com's part number HM40975 which was compatible with this item.
