All 2013 Nissan Pathfinders came pre-wired for a tow package, so we know your Pathfinder at least has something. If your Pathfinder came with the tow package option from the dealer, then you would have a trailer hitch and trailer wiring at the back of the Pathfinder.
Since you are asking for a wiring kit, I'm guessing you need the wiring still. For this I recommend the Curt 7-Way Wiring Harness, # C56357, if you want a 7-pin trailer connector or the Curt 4-Way Wiring Harness, # C56281, if you just need a 4-pin trailer connector. Be sure to choose the connector that matches the connector on your trailer. I've attached installations videos to give you an idea of how they install.
A 4-pin connector will only provide you with trailer light functions (stop, turn, tail) and a 7-way will also provide reverse lights, electric brake controls and a 12 volt trailer battery charge circuit and is more commonly used for camping trailers and trailers with electric brakes. If your trailer has electric brakes, then you will also need to add a brake controller like Curt Discovery Brake Controller # C84VV, and the Nissan Pathfinder Custom Plug-In Adapter # C51382.
If you also need to add a trailer hitch to complete your tow package, then I also recommend the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, # C13126. This hitch has the best hidden design and looks factory once it is installed. I've attached an installation video of this as well for you to check out.
The last piece of the puzzle for towing a trailer is a ball mount. This can be a bit trickier to choose as the ball mount has to match the rise or drop required by your trailer. I've attached a help article on how to choose a ball mount for you to review.
