They did not mentioned any kicking motion. I don't believe the surround sensors, backup sensors, or pre collision avoidance features will be hampered by the hitch but the pre collision avoidance has not been tested....

  Hey Andres, normally when this happens after pulling trailer out of storage from the winter the problem is corrosion that developed on the pins of the trailer wiring connector. I would try taking sandpaper to the pins of the 4-way on the vehicle so that the connection can be made again. If that doesn't work let me know but it's almost always this.
